Tennis: Top seeds go through to the last 16 in French Open

# Tennis: For the first time since 2003 the top eight seeds in the women’s competition have all reached the last 16 of the French Open at Roland Garros stadium in Paris. Coco Gauff beat Marie Bouzkova and Mirra Andreeva beat Yulia Putintsiva, both matches in straight sets. Jessica Pegula needed three sets to beat former finalist Marketa Vondrousova, while Madison Keys saved three match points before scrambling past Sofia Kenin.
The world’s 361st ranked player, Lois Boisson, beat Elsa Jacquemot to become the lowest-ranked player in the last 16 in Paris in the last 40 years.
