TEDA office move to save Tshwane more than R17 million in rental costs [SOUND]

# The Tshwane Economic Development Agency will save more than 17-million-rand over the next five years, after relocating from privately leased offices to city-owned premises in Centurion. The move has reduced the agency’s monthly accommodation costs from 373-thousand-703 to approximately 74-thousand, an 80-percent reduction that will save the entity around 3.6-million-rand annually. Tshwane’s mayoral committee member for Economic Development and Spatial Planning, Sarah Mabotsa, says this is the kind of financial discipline they expect from entities:
