# Operation Shanela in Ekangala and Bronkhorstspruit, Tshwane, over the weekend resulted in the arrest of 289 suspects for various criminal offences. These included attempted murder, rape, kidnapping and intimidation. Police spokesperson, Johan van Dyk, says a roadblock in Ekangala resulted in the detention of 15 undocumented foreign nationals:
