# A suspected kingpin linked to a multimillion-rand vehicle licensing fraud syndicate has been arrested in Parys in the Free State. The arrest followed a joint operation involving the Road Traffic Management Corporation, the Hawks, and the South African Police Service. RTMC spokesperson Simon Zwane says investigators who searched the suspect’s home, found he had allegedly unlawfully accessed the National Traffic Information System, and were in possession of fraudulent licensing documents. They also confiscated computer equipment. Zwane says more arrests are imminent:
