Study finds AI coaching helps drivers cut dangerous road behaviour

# A study by Discovery Insure, Johns Hopkins University and Affective Mobility has found that artificial intelligence-powered coaching can improve driving behaviour. Researchers analysed five-thousand drivers across 1.7-million trips, covering 15-million kilometres. The results highlight significant progress in driver safety: cellphone distractions dropped by nine-percent, harsh acceleration and braking improved by five-percent, cornering got four-percent smoother, and speeding decreased by three-percent. Researchers say personalised, real-time feedback could help motorists develop safer habits and reduce the risk of road accidents.
