# South Africa welcomed nearly one-million international tourists last month, with over 991-thousand visitors recorded. This is a 12.5-percent increase compared to July last year. From January to July, more than 6.5-million international tourists visited the country, up 12.4-percent from the same period last year. Tourism minister Patricia de Lille says the growth is coming from a wider range of markets, while the government continues to promote tourism through digital visas and the electronic travel authorisation system.
