# The civic movement Soil of Africa has welcomed minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Dean Macpherson’s decision to initiate a comprehensive investigation into the six-thousand-238 state-owned residential properties. The properties are allocated to various user departments and occupied by government officials across the country, with most of them situated in KwaZulu-Natal.
