# The Soil of Africa civic movement is calling on all stakeholders to cooperate fully with the Madlanga Commission and to allow its work to proceed without unnecessary delay. The Commission has subpoenaed the head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption, Andrea Johnson, to appear next week. Johnson failed to appear for her scheduled testimony this week and submitted a medical certificate. The movement’s spokesperson, Luzuko Sofute says commissions of inquiry play an essential role in promoting transparency and accountability:
