# Soccer: Confederation of African Football president Patrice Motsepe has called for a heightened sense of urgency as Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda prepare to co-host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Motsepe says stadiums must be ready for testing by January, with postponement not an option. He acknowledged progress, however, some facilities require major upgrades. Kenya’s Sports Cabinet Secretary, Salim Mvurya, has assured CAF that preparations will be accelerated, with work targeted for completion by December. The tournament commences on June 19 to July 17.
