Soccer: CAF pursues R17-billion private sector partnership to boost African soccer [SOUND]

# Soccer: Africa’s governing body, CAF, is negotiating a 17-billion-rand, eight-year partnership with the private sector. Speaking in Nairobi, Kenya, CAF president Patrice Motsepe said the deal aims to increase funding for African soccer, focusing on youth competitions, academies, and talent development for boys and girls. He says this will also support clubs with logistics for Champions League and Confederations Cup participation, strengthening the continent’s soccer infrastructure and future:
