# Soccer: AfriForum’s Private Prosecution Unit says the conviction of former Sekhukhune United player Mokete “Shaune” Mogaila for culpable homicide and failing to render assistance after a car crash is a step towards closure for the Mavimbela family. Mogaila pleaded guilty in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court over the October 2024 crash that killed nine-year-old Gomolemo Mavimbela and seriously injured another child. The unit’s Barry Bateman says the case has been postponed to 17 November for sentencing proceedings:
