# SAFM has apologised after the Broadcasting Complaints Commission found that the station breached its broadcasting code during an interview with March and March leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma. The commission ruled that serious claims about immigrants, crime, corruption and national security were presented as facts without evidence or adequate verification. The SABC has accepted responsibility and was ordered to broadcast an apology and summary of the findings. It says the ruling will help strengthen editorial safeguards for high-risk current affairs discussions.
