Roadrunning: 99th Comrades Marathon taking place on Sunday

# Roadrunning: The 99th Comrades Marathon taking place on Sunday will feature the traditional and demanding Up Run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg. Over 21-thousand-600 runners will line up outside the Durban City Hall at 5-am to tackle an official distance of 85.777-kilometres – making it the shortest course in the race’s history. Participants face a grueling 1.8-kilometre total elevation gain and a strict 12-hour gun-to-gun cut-off time to reach the finish at the Scottsville Racecourse in Pietermaritzburg.
