# The Public Protector’s Office says it intervened in unblocking payment of old-age grant for two Gauteng pensioners. The pensioners approached the office complaining that the South African Social Security Agency had not paid their grants since October last year. PPSA acting spokesperson, Ndili Msoki, says the complainants submitted all the documents that were required by SASSA, and were assured at the time that their social grant reviews had been successful:
