# Johannesburg Water says following the completion of Rand Water’s Palmiet maintenance, it continues to implement technical measures to support the recovery of affected water systems. Spokesperson, Nombuso Shabalala says the restoration process resumed yesterday, and Johannesburg Water has put interventions in place, including throttling and temporarily closing outlets. She says most affected systems have improved:
