Ramaphosa holds engagement with judiciary to strengthen SA’s justice system

# President Cyril Ramaphosa met with judiciary heads including chief justice Mandisa Maya and Heads of Court at Mahlamba Ndlopfu in Pretoria to reinforce efforts to build a stronger justice system. Joined by Justice minister Mmamoloko Kubayi and deputy minister Andries Nel, the engagement aimed to improve court infrastructure, independence, and capacity. Ramaphosa emphasised cooperation between state arms to uphold the Constitution. Meanwhile, Maya hailed the meeting’s timing ahead of the Constitutional Court’s 30th anniversary, calling it a milestone in judicial collaboration and reform.
