# The Public Servants Association has welcomed the additional 7.5-billion-rand allocated to the South African Revenue Service by National Treasury over the next three years. The funding will help SARS improve and modernise its systems in support of improved revenue collection. The association’s, Claude Naiker, says this support comes at an opportune time to address reported massive tax evasion and non-compliance, resulting in around 100-thousand persons earning more than one-million-rand not being registered for tax:
