# The Public Servants Association has welcomed the dismissal of the Gauteng Gambling Board CEO, Karabo Mbele, over governance failures and gross misconduct. The board’s chief financial officer, Oscar Maripane, has been suspended, following revelations of procurement irregularities and financial governance failures.
