# President Cyril Ramaphosa has paid tribute to theologian and anti-apartheid activist Tshenuwani Simon Farisani, who passed on at the age of 76. A Lutheran minister and former member of Parliament, Farisani co-founded the Black Evangelic Youth Organisation with Ramaphosa in the 1970s. Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya says he will be remembered for his fearless fight against apartheid, his lifelong dedication to justice, freedom, and national development:
