# The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union in Limpopo is calling on the provincial Department of Transport to urgently assess and strengthen inmate transportation procedures. A police van that was transporting eleven inmates to court in Mookgophong collided with a heavy-duty truck yesterday. The accident claimed the lives of six inmates and one police officer.
