# The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union in Limpopo is calling for a thorough investigation into the head-on crash that killed six people, including three police members, on the R524 Levubu Road in the Vhembe district yesterday. A police vehicle taking three awaiting-trial prisoners to jail collided with a white Mahindra bakkie belonging to Tshisimani Water. POPCRU’s provincial secretary Peggy Ramavhunga says this tragic incident must reinforce the importance of ensuring that all state vehicles are properly maintained and fit for purpose:
