# The City of Tshwane says power outages are continuing to affect suburbs in the western, northern, and eastern parts of the metro. The outages occurred just before 10pm last night, as a result of a trip at the Kwagga infeed substation. The metro’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says teams are hard at work trying to fix the problem. He adds that at present, the estimated time of restoration is not yet known:
