Over 5,000 new toilets and 700 taps installed to improve dignity in Cape Town informal settlements [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Directorate says it has provided 709 new taps and five-thousand-873 toilets to informal settlements during the 2024/2025 financial year. This forms part of the metro’s ongoing commitment to expand access to basic services, particularly clean water and safe sanitation.
