Over 3,000 young people empowered through infrastructure investment programmes in the WC [SOUND]

# The DA in the Western Cape has welcomed the over 48-million-rand investment by the provincial Department of Infrastructure towards youth development programmes. This investment is between the 2022/2023 and 2025/2026 financial years. The programmes include Masakh’iSizwe Bursary, the National Youth Service, the Contractor Development, and the Youth in the Built Environment initiative. The DA’s Dirk Wessels says three-thousand-288 young people across the province have been given opportunities to build skills and careers in infrastructure:
