# A total of 324 suspects were arrested in Mamelodi and Eersterust during a multidisciplinary crime prevention operation in Tshwane yesterday. Police spokesperson, Johan van Dyk, says the suspects were apprehended for crimes ranging from attempted murder, armed robbery and drug possession. He says a total of 17 taxis were also impounded for contravening the National Road Traffic Act:
