# Thirty-six motorists were arrested and 42 vehicles impounded in Johannesburg, Tshwane and Ekurhuleni during high-impact stop-and-search operations from the 20th to 26 of this month. The operations were undertaken under the #RemoveSkorokoroCampaign. The Gauteng Roads and Transport Department spokesperson, Melitah Madiba, says 99 minibus taxis and private vehicles received discontinuation notices, removing them from the roads.
