Outgoing Hawks head calls for more financial resources to combat crime in SA [SOUND]

# Outgoing Hawks head, advocate Godfrey Lebeya is calling on government to provide financial resources for the Directorate Priority Crime Investigation to achieve 100-percent human resource capacity. Lebeya says since he commenced with his tenure in 2018, they arrested more than 19-thousand suspects for various offences and secured convictions of more than five-thousand perpetrators. Lebeya says they also seized goods worth more than 15-billion-rand and secured one-thousand-118 freezing and forfeiture orders worth 3.2-billion-rand:
