# The National Youth Development Agency says it has repositioned itself from being primarily a grant-making institution to becoming a leading force for youth development across South Africa. The agency has processed more than one-thousand-300 grant opportunities worth over 28-million-rand, backing young entrepreneurs who are not only building businesses but also creating jobs and stimulating local economies. NYDA chairperson, Sunshine Myende, says through their partnership with the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention, they have launched 100-thousand paid National Youth Service opportunities:
