# The National Informal Traders Alliance of South Africa says it was unfairly excluded from Parliamentary hearings on the Tobacco Products and Electronic Delivery Systems Control Bill. The organisation, representing over two-million informal traders, warns the law could destroy livelihoods, fuel the illicit cigarette trade, and punish small sellers. The alliance’s Rosheda Muller calls on the Parliament’s portfolio committee on Health to reopen oral hearings and include all affected voices before passing the bill:
