# Civil organisation Sanco in Gauteng has threatened to withdraw its political support from the ANC following premier Panyaza Lesufi’s cabinet reshuffle. Gauteng chairperson Abram Mashishi told Newzroom Afrika the move is reckless and Lesufi must resign. He accuses him of not considering the alliance’s decisions and making his own, including the appointment of the EFF’s Nkululeko Dunga as MEC for Finance. Mashisi says governance must prioritise residents over political interests:
# A helicopter that went missing at the Kruger National Park yesterday, carrying four people, has been found. The aircraft had on board a pilot and two police investigators, as well as an Environmental Crime Investigator. The chopper disappeared during an investigation of a carcass that was discovered. Police spokesperson Donald Mdhluli says the group landed safely in a remote area, but they struggled to navigate through thick bushes:

This moved Chiefs up to third place on the table and a qualification spot for the continental competition, which is the African equivalent of the UEFA Europa League.

Gold sells at four-thousand-679-dollars-68-cents a fine ounce and Brent crude oil is quoted at 107-dollars-55-cents a barrel.
# And finally: Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, says the passing of a legendary member of world-renowned Ladysmith Black Mambazo is a loss to the music industry and South Africa. Seventy-seven-year-old Albert Mazibuko sang for the iconic group for over five decades. He died on Sunday. McKenzie’s spokesperson, Zimasa Velaphi, says Mazibuko was the custodian of a uniquely South African sound that travelled across the world and united people:
