# Newly elected City of Tshwane councillor, Mickey van der Westhuizen, has promised to prioritise community safety and service delivery in Clarina, Heatherdale, Klerksoord, Tileba, Winternest, Theresapark, Eldorette and Dorandia. He was elected following the municipal by-election last Wednesday. The ward has been plagued by issues such as water outages, poor infrastructure, illegal dumping, and dysfunctional streetlights. Van der Westhuizen says they have heard the frustrations from residents, now it’s time to get to work and deliver.
