# Western Cape Mobility MEC, Isaac Sileku says government’s Jobseeker Travel Voucher Programme is helping unemployed residents in George get to job opportunities without transport costs getting in the way. Since the programme launched last month, one-thousand-766 unemployed residents have registered, and one-thousand-83 free trips have already been taken on the GO GEORGE bus service. The MEC says more residents are also using the service every week:
