# The City of Tshwane has appointed Musa Khumalo as acting city manager following the suspension of Johann Mettler earlier this month. Mettler was placed on precautionary suspension pending misconduct allegations. The city says the council approved Khumalo’s appointment on a month-to-month contract for a maximum of three months. Khumalo previously served as the city’s Group Head for shared services. The appointment was announced through the Stock Exchange News Service in line with market disclosure requirements.
