# Motorsport: Lando Norris of McLaren claimed pole position for today’s Austrian Grand Prix ahead of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, leading by 0.521 seconds in the qualifying rounds yesterday. Norris’ teammate, the championship leader, Oscar Piastri, was a further 0.062 seconds behind. Lewis Hamilton put the second Ferrari fourth, 0.090 secs slower than his teammate. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen could manage only seventh place. George Russell for Mercedes and Liam Lawson for Racing Bulls claimed the fifth and sixth positions respectively.
