The MK Party has officially terminated former secretary-general Floyd Shivambu’s membership following his public statements and actions that were deemed to violate party principles and trust. The leadership decided that Shivambu no longer aligns with the party’s ideological direction. MK Party’s national chairperson, Nathi Nhleko, told the media the party will not engage further on this matter:
