# The MK Party has written to the National Assembly Speaker, Thoko Didiza, and moved to file a motion of no confidence in the current sitting president Cyril Ramaphosa, following the Constitutional Court judgement on Phala Phala matter. Spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela says the party has requested that the motion be conducted by secret ballot. He says this is to safeguard both the independence and integrity of Members’ votes and to ensure they are able to exercise their responsibilities freely and effectively.
