# Minister of Higher Education, Buti Manamela, says the Special Investigating Unit is making progress in its investigation into corruption at the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. The minister placed the scheme under administration last month due to governance instability within the institution. To date, the SIU has recovered two-billion-rand from NSFAS.
