Metro police officer gets six years for fatal Golden Highway crash [SOUND]

# Johannesburg Metro Police officer, Raymond Nkosinathi Mzizi, was sentenced to six-years in prison after he was convicted on three counts of culpable homicide. Independent Police Investigative Directorate spokesperson, Lizzy Suping, says in 2018 Mzizi was involved in a crash on the Golden Highway with a car and minibus taxi. The driver of the car’s two daughters and a grandchild died. She says he was also sentenced to 12 months to run concurrently for the unauthorised use of a state vehicle:
