# KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, has removed Mandeni Local Municipality councillor Caroline Mthembu from office with immediate effect. The decision follows the conclusion of an investigation into allegations of misconduct against Mthembu.
