# ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula has honored uMkhonto we Sizwe combatants Benjamin Moloise and Abraham Mngomezulu as courageous anti-apartheid activists who fought for democracy and equality. The event marked the return of their remains, decades after their execution by the apartheid regime, providing a moment of closure for their families. Speaking at their reburial ceremony, he emphasised that their sacrifices symbolise the struggle for freedom:
