# The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry into criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system has confirmed that its public hearings into allegations raised by KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi will now start on 17 September. The hearings were delayed due to procurement setbacks by the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development.
