# KwaZulu-Natal’s MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Thulasizwe Buthelezi, has issued a level four weather warning for disruptive rain across large parts of the province. The warning, effective from midnight, comes as persistent rainfall is expected, which could lead to flooding, difficult driving conditions, and damage to property and infrastructure. The department’s Senzelwe Mzila says disaster management teams are on high alert, ready to respond:
