# KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport and Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma, has commended the Road Traffic Inspectorate team stationed at Park Rynie for their vigilance and commitment to curbing road carnage. This comes after a lawyer and an auditor were among motorists arrested for excessive speeding over the weekend along the N2. The lawyer was arrested for clocking 222-kilometres-per-hour in a 120-kilometres-per-hour zone. The department’s spokesperson, Ndabezinhle Sibiya, says the auditor was arrested for clocking 177-kilometres-per-hour in a 120-kilometre-per-hour zone:
