Launch of Midvaal Sports Council marks a new era for local sport development [SOUND]

# The Midvaal Local Municipality has officially inaugurated the Midvaal Sports Council, in a bid to better support local sports development. The council comprise ten officials, each representing different sporting codes. The mayor’s spokesperson, Idah Satikhe, says the establishment of the Sports Council is a vote of confidence in the revitalisation of sport in the municipality, and a meaningful step toward empowering athletes across different codes to grow and thrive:
