# KwaZulu-Natal premier Thamsanqa Ntuli says digital technologies are a necessary solution to many of the current pressing challenges, and are fundamental in building an inclusive knowledge society. He delivered the opening address of the two-day GovTech Conference in Durban on Monday. Ntuli says the conference is a space where ideas converge, partnerships are forged, and innovations are shaped to ensure that the digital future is inclusive, dynamic, and transformative:
