# The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department will manage traffic and ensure public safety during the reopening of Lilian Ngoyi Street today. Following Phase 1 of the road rehabilitation, the street between Loveday and End Streets will operate as a one-way eastbound. JMPD spokesperson, Xolani Fihla, says officers will be stationed at key intersections to direct traffic, enforce by-laws, and assist motorists and pedestrians. Road users are urged to follow the new traffic layout:
