# The Johannesburg Development Agency has completed a universal design access plan for the city’s public transport system. The plan covers the full transport network, including Rea Vaya and Metrobus, and improve services for people with disabilities, older persons, pregnant women and parents with young children. It focuses on fixing barriers in transport infrastructure, information and services. The plan will now go to the city council for approval and will guide future improvements to Johannesburg’s transport system.
