Jagersfontein dam collapse victims still seek justice on 3rd anniversary

# Jagersfontein residents are marking the third anniversary of the Jagersfontein dam collapse in the Free State. In 2022, the mine dam wall broke, flooding parts of the town and affecting 140 families. Two people died and one remains missing. While 90 families accepted 150-million-rand rebuilding led by Jagersfontein Development Mine, others are pursuing legal compensation. The Human Rights Commission and civil society groups continue to monitor and call for the public release of the investigation report.
