IFP welcomes strong voter registration turnout

# The IFP says the massive turnout for the final voter registration weekend shows that South Africans remain determined to exercise their democratic power and have their voices heard. Over the weekend, 1.7 million citizens interacted with the IEC. Of these, 291-thousand-806 registered as first-time voters, while over 1.5 million voters updated or confirmed their registration details. The IFP says the mission is to reach every eligible voter, particularly young people and first-time voters, reminding them that their vote is their voice, their influence, and their power to demand better governance.
