# The former head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption, Andrea Johnson, has told the Madlanga Commission that she had no reason to doubt information provided by investigators when she authorised the investigation into senior SAPS officials. This included Crime Intelligence boss Dumisani Khumalo, accused of fraud and corruption relating to the alleged irregular appointment of brigadier Dineo Mokwele, to a senior executive position. Johnson also conceded that IDAC investigators could be conducting unauthorised investigations:
